DESCRIPTION
It is estimated that at least 2 million children are trafficked annually for child labor & sexual exploitation | World Vision. For most, such topics are rather heavy to discuss. While for many such issues are merely a topic of conversation, for others it is part of their reality & turning the other cheek doesn't make the issues disappear.

This is my effort to use my creatives skills as a tool for bringing awareness to the most traumatic aspect of child slavery : Sexual Exploitation. Such has a way of destroying child's innocence & causing psychological damage that can last a life time. My experience as a refugee from Bosnia living in Kosovo forced me to grow up a little faster than most kids. I can't say I understand what the victims of child slavery experience, but I know that everything I experienced as a refugee is part of me & with me every single day. If what I have experienced remains with me every day, I can only imagine the kind of memories & thoughts that remain with the victims through out their lives. However, it is important to remember that during my journey I remember almost every kind gesture that made life a little brighter. As such, I want to encourage your efforts to make the lives of those less fortunate a little brighter too.

In addition to encouraging your involvement in helping others, my piece is s meant to shock & stop you in your tracks. It is all for the purpose of encouraging a moment of self reflection to clearly see what really matters.
