DA VINCI'S DEMONS
Digital Kitchen, the brains behind brilliant TV show opening sequences such as Dexter, True Blood & Six Feet Under, hired me, amongst few others to create various typographic titles that Starz network can choose from, for their original series Da Vinci's Demons. Starz picked a solution that best suited their vision of the show. They did not use my typographic titles, but I was pleased with the results enough to showcase my favorite out of the bunch. You can see my process here & on Béhance. Show premiered on April 12 & is produced by David S. Goyer, co-writer of The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises. You can learn more about the show & see the official typographic title on Starz website.

SUPREME CONSCIOUSNESS
Supreme Consciousness series focuses on the self, the real entity that I feel myself to be, which is always split between a conscious side, a mind that is accessible & an unconscious side, which remains inaccessible. With no way to fully access the unconscious, I can at least imagine the notion of my consciousness transcending into my unconscious to access the inaccessible content of my mind. Such would lead to the supreme consciousness, a stream of constant, unquestionable awareness providing absolute access to all of the content within my mind. Perhaps, the notion brought forth would contribute to the collapse of my whole entity & destroy the sense of human curiosity that is kept alive by the unknown. Perhaps it would lead to the enlightenment. This series is the visual realization of those contemplations. You can see the entire series here & on Béhance.

BEYOND LIMITS
Beyond Limits is a series that explores the notion of seeing irreplaceable qualities & eternal beauty in an everyday person, which goes beyond the limits of symbolic language & physical pleasure. It is the kind of notion that exists in the confines of the mystical & it is driven to some extent by its own mysticism. The often all-consuming nature of this overall notion was furthered through the stippling technique, which proved to be a true test of patience. All of the pieces are Ink & Acrylic on Bristol, 6.5 x 6.5 in. Beyond Limits series along with the Something Somewhere series & additional in-progress series are all part of my Spring 2013 exhibition, exploring different ideas of the "The Beyond" realm. So check back periodically for new work. You can see the entire series here & on Béhance.

SUBCONSCIOUS LIMBO TYPEFACE
Subconscious Limbo is an all-caps custom made typeface originally created for Limbo, Erok Y Brahma's debut album. Custom made glitches were used to artificially recreate a sense of disruption between your physical-self & your virtual self, as a way of encouraging you to question the impact of virtual reality on your perception of the physical world & your interactions with the physical world. Subconscious Limbo comes with upper case typesetting along with all numbers & all special characters in TTF & OTF format. Thanks to Ten Dollar Fonts, you can purchase this typeface here. You can see the full presentation of this typeface here & on Béhance.

SOMETHING SOMEWHERE
Over the last 6 months, I've established several new projects to experiment with different media & explore various content. One of those projects was my Something Somewhere series, which I finally completed. The goal was to explore some personal content, while stepping away from computer generated work to learn something new about the way I create my work. You can see the entire series here & on Béhance.
